Describe your space — the wall dimensions, the vibe of your venue, the foot traffic your location sees. Artists use this to decide whether their work is a good fit. It takes less than five minutes.
Receive inbound requests from artists who want to display in your space, or browse the artist directory and reach out directly. Review portfolios, message the artist, and accept the work you love.
Once art is on your walls, a QR code lets visitors scan to view artwork details and buy directly. Your dashboard shows scan counts, enquiries, and active placements — so you can see the real impact art has on your space.
Common questions
Is there a fee for businesses to list a space?
No. Listing spaces, browsing artists, messaging, and posting open calls are completely free. No monthly fees, no subscriptions. Optional paid services like Business Sponsorships ($15–30/month) and Curated Matchmaking ($49–199 per project) are available when you want them, but never required.
Do I need to pay the artist for displaying their work?
No. Herehood is a placement platform, not a consignment service. Artists display their work at no cost to you — the benefit is mutual exposure. Artists earn only when a sale is made.
What happens when a piece sells?
The buyer purchases through the Herehood shop. The artist handles collection or shipping with the buyer. You simply remove the piece from display when notified.
Who is responsible for the artwork while it is on my wall?
Both parties agree on the terms before placement, including any care or liability provisions. We recommend noting this in your initial message to the artist.
Can I request a specific style of art?
Yes. Use open calls to post a brief with the style, size, and mood you are looking for. Artists who match will apply directly.
How do I rotate artwork when a placement ends?
Mark the placement as complete in your dashboard. Artists are notified and can arrange collection. You can then accept a new request or browse artists to fill the space.
