1. About Herehood
Herehood is a community-first platform connecting local artists with businesses that have spare wall space. By using herehood.com.au or our mobile app, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One account per person. Business accounts represent the business, not an individual.
- Provide accurate information. Misrepresentation may result in account suspension.
3. Artist accounts
- Artists retain full copyright and ownership of their artwork.
- By uploading artwork, you grant Herehood a licence to display it on the platform for discovery and connection purposes.
- You may remove your artwork at any time.
- Artwork pricing is set entirely by you. Herehood never sets or influences prices.
- Sales commission is 10%, as described in our pricing. Artists receive approximately 87–90% of each sale.
4. Business accounts
- Listing wall space is free and always will be.
- You are responsible for the physical safety of displayed artwork.
- Display arrangements (timing, installation, insurance) are agreed directly between you and the artist.
- You may leave reviews after a completed display period.
5. Purchases
- Purchases are processed securely through Stripe.
- Herehood facilitates the transaction but the sale is between the buyer and the artist.
- Delivery, shipping, and returns are arranged between buyer and artist.
- Herehood is not liable for disputes between buyers and artists but will assist in resolution where possible.
6. Community guidelines
- Be respectful in all communications.
- Do not upload copyrighted work that is not your own.
- Do not use the platform for spam, fraud, or harassment.
- Herehood reserves the right to moderate content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
7. Anti-superstar commitment
Herehood is committed to equitable visibility for all artists. We do not offer paid visibility boosts, bestseller badges, or public sales leaderboards. Our equity algorithm ensures diverse representation across all discovery surfaces.
8. Limitation of liability
Herehood is provided “as is”. We make no warranties about the reliability or availability of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Herehood is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
