How the Community Fund works
Overflow from commission cap
When shop commissions exceed 30% of quarterly revenue, excess flows directly to the Fund — not to Herehood.
20% of corporate revenue
Every corporate art programme generates a mandatory contribution — aligning business benefit with community benefit.
Used for the community
The Fund supports emerging artist grants, free community events, open calls with equity mechanisms, and neighbourhood art initiatives.
Our model
Herehood earns 10% when an artwork sells through the platform — the lowest commission rate in any curated marketplace with physical exhibition. Listing, browsing, applying to open calls, and displaying artwork are all free. There are no subscriptions, no paid visibility boosts, and no artist leaderboards.
Be part of what gets built
Every artist and business that joins Herehood adds to these numbers and to their local creative community.
